Brisbane’s newest and most sophisticated collection of boutique venues
The first Brisbane Marketing Business Networking event for the year will be hosted by the award winning team at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in their newly opened expansion, BCEC on Grey Street on Monday 19 March from 5.30pm – 7.30pm.
BCEC on Grey Street – boutique in concept, dramatic in design, sets a new standard for hosting smaller and medium sized meetings and events with its impressive portfolio of unique spaces.
Located in the heart of South Bank, the cultural and entertainment hub of the city, BCEC on Grey Street has direct access to the vibrant Grey Street retail and restaurant precinct.
Designed by Cox Rayner architects, the 25,000 square metre BCEC on Grey Street features a five storey sky-lit atrium and a stunning and dramatic facade, 85% of which is glass allowing the building to be bathed in natural light. Pamphlet, the work of Brisbane artist Bruce Reynolds, which draws together the elements of the river, landscape and current usage of the site, is represented through external installations and a series of alcove collages in the Main Foyer.

The addition of BCEC on Grey Street onto the scene offers a new dimension to the delivery of business and social events. It is designed to meet an increased demand for smaller and medium sized meetings and events with two auditoria for 400 and 600 with accompanying foyer space, private boardrooms and collection of gala event spaces with new generation technology and lighting effects.
Winner of 56 catering awards, BCEC has been recognized as Australia’s Best Function/Convention Centre Caterer on three occasions and currently holds the title of Australia’s Caterer of the Year.
