Brisbane GROWS through new famil campaign
23/10/2012
The Brisbane Convention Bureau GROW Famil Campaign is designed to introduce interstate meeting planners to Brisbane’s excellent range of business events products and suppliers.
The campaign is a series of two-day familiarisation experiences to connect meeting planners and professional conference organisers to Brisbane’s new and vibrant meeting places, particularly the many that have undergone exciting expansions and renovations.
Brisbane Marketing Convention Bureau director Annabel Sullivan encouraged anyone who hadn’t been to Brisbane recently to register for a GROW famil.
“Brisbane has rapidly grown in status as a destination of choice for business events and the growth and emergence of unique, world-class venues and event services on offer in Australia’s new world city are definitely worth a look,” she said.
“As a guest of Brisbane Marketing, you will have the opportunity to unearth an exceptional range of venues, accommodation and event services to help you start planning your next business event.
“Your Brisbane experience reinforces the Team Brisbane concept which is a coordinated, collaborative, city-wide approach to doing business.
“The Brisbane Convention Bureau is dedicated to bringing the city’s business events industry together as one united force to get the best results for clients,” she said.
GROW Famil registration includes a two-day hosted familiarisation experience of a selection of Brisbane’s business events products and suppliers, as well as return economy class airfares to Brisbane from your nearest capital city in Australia.
You will also receive accommodation for one night in Brisbane and all meals and transfers.
Famils started this month and will run through to May 2013.
The Brisbane Convention Bureau will also hold one day Growth Showcase famils to keep local event planners up to date on the hidden gems and lesser known even venues around Brisbane.
