This vibrant shopping and lifestyle precinct lies at the heart of Brisbane city and is arguably Australia’s most successful pedestrian mall, playing host to over 26 million local, national and international visitors a year and delivering significant economic and social value to Brisbane.
In addition to marketing, Brisbane Marketing is responsible for producing, programming, facilitating and activating more than 1,000 events throughout the Queen Street Mall each year. The extensive program includes QSM Live music, QSM Kids and Christmas events, sporting team appearances, performances by leading artists, major event showcases, retail promotions and product launches, fresh produce markets and community events.
Brisbane Marketing’s CBD Retail marketing and event strategies aim to showcase the dynamic retail and lifestyle offering of the city and surrounding precincts and are designed to increase retail sales turnover through increased and repeat visitation.
