Brisbane - Australia’s New World City was launched in May 2009 as the official Brand for Brisbane City Region. This business brand idea positions Brisbane as a progressive, optimistic and generous city. It’s a city that’s alive and balanced; where people can be who they want to be. The sky is blue, and for ideas, the sky is the limit.

Australia’s New World City cements a marketing and communications strategy for the Brisbane City Region, ultimately promoting and delivering an economic benefit to the residential and business community as a whole. Brisbane Marketing and our stakeholders and members are thought leaders in the promotion of Brisbane as Australia’s New World City.

We lead by and contribute to strategically targeted marketing and communications programs throughout industries across intrastate, interstate and international markets and work in partnership with organizations throughout the city region to enhance the Brisbane brand visibility.

Our collective aim is to promote the Brisbane City Region as a leading destination for our community, visitors, talent, businesses and investment.

Brisbane - Australia’s New World City is managed by a public/private partnership. Our board is made up of senior representatives from key sectors of Brisbane City Region’s economy.
